Dr Daniel Yong is currently the deputy head of urology at Tan Tock Seng Hospital, Singapore. He has completed fellowships at Duke University Hospital under Professors Glenn Preminger and David Albala, Okayama University Hospital under Professor Motoo Araki and most recently at Universitatsklinikum Hamburg-Eppendorf / Martini-Klinik (Germany) where he learnt advanced surgical techniques such as Neuro-SAFE from Prof Alexander Haese. He has a special interest in Uro-oncology and minimally invasive surgical techniques. He has published various peer-review papers and book chapters. He is the department head of research and is a member of the hospital research and innovation committee.
